What is ALZ-NET?

The Alzheimer’s Network for Treatment and Diagnostics is a platform for patients, families and caregivers to access resources about Alzheimer’s disease, including links to medical experts, opportunities to participate in research, and cutting-edge news.

ALZ-NET collects data from individuals who are being evaluated for or are receiving treatment with novel FDA-approved therapies for Alzheimer’s disease. Novel FDA-approved therapies for AD are drugs that have received approval as treatments for Alzheimer's disease (AD) from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration since 2021. ALZ-NET will track clinical, safety and long-term health outcomes of individuals in real-world settings from a variety of backgrounds and communities. This network is sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association and managed by the American College of Radiology.

Why join ALZ-NET?

With patients’ willingness to provide data on their Alzheimer's disease treatment and care, ALZ-NET researchers can learn about real world patterns in diagnosing and treating Alzheimer’s disease. By understanding patterns in care today, ALZ-NET can help health practitioners treat Alzheimer’s Disease in the future. ALZ-NET aims to be a resource for evidence gathering, information sharing, and education across clinical and research communities to support and improve care of individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease.
